What is a Business Broker?

We are a collection of Business Marketing Specialists, working with Companies and Individuals, in the process of Selling and Buying Businesses.  In that role, we take a leading role in:  

• Pricing the Business;
• Positioning the Business for Sale;
• Promoting the Sale, utilizing a variety of Media strategies, as well as through direct contact and personal Networking efforts;
• Negotiating Price and Terms;
• Where needed, assisting in locating and facilitating Loan sources; 
• Bringing the deal to Settlement.

Thought the BAF Group has been operational since 1999, the Principal Broker - Don Barrick - has been involved in Start-up and Troubleshooting for a variety of company types and sizes, since 1972.  His experience has taken him thoughout the USA, as well as a number of countries overseas.  A vast part of that experience has also involved a wide variety of business acquisitions and sales.  He is involved in each and every transaction conducted by The BAF Group.

We have heard the argument before: Why do I need a Business Broker?

We can only answer, would you take out your own appendix?  We don't do your taxes; why let your CPA sell your business?  We won't sell your house; why let your residential real estate agent deal with issues for which he/she is not prepared?  We do not represent you in a court of law; an attorney is not a master at pricing and promoting the most beneficial sale of your business.

The BAF Group is a crew of specialists, doing a specialist's job.  That's it!  End of story.
